Lauren grew up in Weimar, TX, and completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences at Texas A&M University. She later completed a dietetic internship at the Memphis VA Medical Center, and became a licensed Registered Dietitian. After working as a dietitian for 5 years, Lauren decided to expand her knowledge further by applying to physician assistant school. While being stationed in Oklahoma for her husband’s Air Force career, Lauren was accepted into the Oklahoma City University Physician Assistant Program and graduated in May 2019. She is currently Board Certified with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies. Lauren enjoys building relationships with patients and working with them to develop a treatment plan that individually fits their needs. When not at work, Lauren enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
