Patient Portal – Skip the hold! The NextMD Patient Portal allows for direct communication between you as a patient and your provider team. You may utilize NextMd to ask questions to your provider, view lab results and messages sent by your doctor and to follow up on medication refills (the preferred method of requesting medication refills initially is still to go through your pharmacy). You may also view past continuity of care documents and see a medication list on your patient portal.
Once your patient portal is triggered by the office, all demographic information must be changed by you directly in your patient portal. Office assistance on the patient portal is restricted to password/token resets once established. All other patient support issues in NextMD will need to be handled directly with NextMD patient portal.
