Savannah Elkins, PA-C

Savannah grew up in The Woodlands, TX. She knew she wanted a career in medicine from a very young age, so she completed her high school education by 16 years-old. She then pursued her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Texas A&M University. After obtaining her undergraduate degree, she worked in the fields of allergy/immunology and pediatric orthotics while raising her young family. She later attended The University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth. During her time as a student, she proudly balanced the role of PA Student Association President, motherhood, and academics. She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree with the honor of Scholarly Excellence.

Savannah was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes over 20 years ago. She has loved the field of endocrinology since her diagnosis. Growing up, she appreciated the quality medical care that endocrinology providers exemplified while caring for her as a patient. She is now living her dream career by treating patients as an endocrinology PA. She believes in meeting patients where they are, setting attainable lifestyle goals, and cheering them on throughout the journey. She also believes in taking the time to ensure that her patients thoroughly understand their endocrinopathies.

Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, running, gardening, pretending to be a barista, and loving on her family. She and her husband have two little boys that keep them very busy.
