Sue Wombough, FNP-C

Sue Wombough is a compassionate and dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) with a specialization in endocrinology. Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Sue’s journey into healthcare was inspired by a deeply personal experience. Her nursing career, which began in 2007, was motivated by a profound desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others, driven by the loss of her sister to medical complications.

Sue’s commitment to excellence in healthcare led her to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Texas Tech University Health Science Center, where she acquired a strong foundation in nursing practice and patient care. Eager to further her knowledge and skills, she went on to earn her Master of Science degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. Her dedication to advancing her profession is underscored by her national certification with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

With a career spanning over a decade, Sue has consistently demonstrated her unwavering commitment to patient-centered care. She believes in the power of active listening and patient education as essential tools for helping individuals achieve their health and wellness goals. Sue is deeply passionate about working collaboratively with her patients, empowering them to take control of their health, and providing the guidance and support they need on their healthcare journey.

Beyond her fulfilling career, Sue finds joy and balance in her personal life. She shares her life with a loving husband and is the proud mother of three active boys. Her family is at the center of her world, and she relishes spending her free time watching her boys participate in sports, embarking on memorable adventures through travel, and exploring the great outdoors through hiking and nature exploration.
